Wilderness camping in Sälen's beautiful mountain environment!

Stöten Camping is a small and quiet family -owned wilderness camping in Dalarna.

Our campsite is beautiful, surrounded by both mountains, forests and river! A perfect choice for those who are looking for a place to relax and who also offer easily accessible outdoor activities!

The campsite is open year -round and in the summer you can easily enjoy mountain hiking, canoeing, cycling, fishing etc.!

Camping in the winter is a completely different experience. Only a few km away is the shock skiing and 4 miles away you will find the Norwegian ski resort Trysil! Both offer both nice downhill skiing and lots of cross -country tracks. Tip is to test one of the tracks on the mountain top! Scooter skiing, dog sledding etc. is, for example, on several fun activities.

We have both seasonal places and "daily places" for caravans/motorhomes/tents. In addition, there are 2 glamping tents, 4 cottages and 1 room with a total of 26 beds. Do you want to get a really close nature experience recommend whites you rent tents, hammock or treepod!

Dogs always welcome.

The reception also has a small kiosk. Coffee/tea, sweets, snacks, ice cream, buns and outdoor items you can buy here. During high season you can order freshly baked breakfast bread.

There is a service house with kitchen, showers and toilets and washing machine. Free WiFi.

There is also a beautiful child -friendly bathing area that has a long sandy bottom about 5 km from the campsite.

Bookings for campsites are usually not necessary, but if you want to be sure, you can call /email us in advance. If you want to rent a cabin during high season, we recommend that you book (online for the period 11/6-11/9) in advance.

Of course, we protect our beautiful mountain environment and wish that all visitors enjoy what nature gives us and respectsright of public access.
